If we could see beyond today
As God can see,

Hi everyone. Today, we went out shopping and got some stuff for our Church's Christmas dinner which is on this coming Tuesday. Pastor Mark Bradfield will be preaching. We are really looking forward to it.

Tonight, we went over to the Laverty's for supper. (It was really delicious.) Grace and Hannah are spending the night with them.

At our Midweek service, we had some visitors. Brian, his wife, and baby girl.

Praise the Lord! They are supposed to be coming on Sunday as well.

Hi, today was the Sunday School party. We had it at our house. We had a lot of fun. We decorated Christmas ornaments, Christmas cards, Christmas cookies, and made Christmas crackers. Here is some of the pictures. Joel and his ornament.

Christmas Cards

Today was our last calligraphy lesson. We finished making the Chrismas cards we have been working on. Here's the photos of the ones I did. Mom will post her's tomorrow.

On Saturday, we went to the Ulster Folk Park. That had an exhibit of handmade things.

This shawl was crocheted.

Hi, Yesterday, we made cookies. We made 3 different kinds: sugar cookies, snickerdoodle, and chocolate chip. Here is some of the pictures of the sugar cookies.Cookies.

This is Grace's masterpiece cookie. Decorating a cookie.

Hi everyone, our Mom is hosting a recipe swap for casseroles. Here is our recipe.

Sweet potato casserole

3 cups sweet potatoes, about 4 good sized ones

1/2 cup sugar

2 eggs, beaten

1/2 cup butter

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 cup milk

1 cup butter

1 cup light brown sugar

1/2 cup flour

1 cup chopped pecans

Boil and mash potatoes. Mix in sugar, butter, eggs, vanill and milk. Put in 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Topping:Melt butter and mix in remaining ingredients. Sprinkle on top of potato mixture. Bake at 350f for 25 minutes.
