The weather in Ireland is mostly cloudy and rainy. The average temperature is 56 degrees. Ireland grows mainly potatoes. The planting season in Ireland is February and March.
Because of the temperature is Ireland, most foods are imported.
The soil is very rich, brown dirt.

Wow, Grace, I was SHOCKED at the gas price. I'll think of you the next time I complain about the gas price here. Do the majority of people ride bikes? When we lived in Germany during my husband's time in the Air Force, we walked pretty much everywhere unless we were going too far away and then we would hop a bus or train.
Thanks for sharing a few facts about Ireland with us. I enjoyed that!

Happymama, we've noticed that people walk alot more here than they do in America. I don't think the majority ride bikes though. BTW- Did you like living in Germany?

We LOVED living in Germany. It was hard to be away from our family, but we would love to go back one day. Maybe the Lord will allow us to take our oldest son there. He was born in Wiesbaden and I would love to take him to see where he was born. The culture is very different. The people are so sweet. And they need the Lord. If we could get to Heaven on hospitality, Germany would certainly be going, but that's just not the way it works.
