A Poem.......

Jesus Our Saviour
by Karen Cullen

God loves the world so dearly,He sent his precious son,
To bear our sins at Calvary-To die for everyone.

Jesus came to save us,He died for you and me,
He wants the world to knowthat salvation - it is free.

Open up your heart, Trust him all the way,
Let Jesus enter in and he will always stay.

When life seems hard,Too much to bear,
Just trust in Jesus,He’s always there.

He’ll never leave you, nor forsake you,
God's word it tells us so,
Jesus is our Saviour-The world, it has to know.

Happy Flag Day!!!!!

The Star Spangled Banner
(The Defense of Fort McHenry) September 20, 1814
By Francis Scott Key

Oh, say can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

This morning Dad and David went to give out the leaflets for David's presentation that's coming up soon. (I think it's the 19th of June) We're looking forward to hearing him speak. The title is- "Evolution: A Theory in Crisis." We stayed home and cleaned the house and brought some of my stuff down from the attic. We're getting ready to eat supper so, I better go for now... Monday....

Today, Hannah got her left eye tested because she has a freckle behind her eye. The optician said it was just a colour pigmentation and there was nothing to worry about. After that we went grocery shopping. The Laverty's came over this afternoon.
It was nice and warm here today. So, we never get a very hot summer. Lydia is giving David piano lessons. (Today was his first lesson.) Right now Hannah is coloring with some of her friends. Lydia is going to start going back to her piano lessons tomorrow. In a few weeks, some of our friends from Londonderry will be coming down to spend a week with us. Their names are Sylvia and her son Jonathan. It's always lots of fun when they come down.
Have a great day!!!

Hi! Since the last time we updated we've made a few changes to our blog. We changed our template, we got a ticker, and we got a word cloud. BTW- If you're ever thinking about changing your template, there's some really nice ones at - www.blogger-templates.blogspot.com
Yesterday we went walking around this really nice park in Bangor. It was really fun. Then we went shopping for a new computer desk. Plus, last night we went walking around the duck pond in Newtownards with David and his family. After that they came back to our house for a while.
We did school today. And also today I was designing a leaflet for David's presentation in June.
We'll soon be getting ready to eat dinner and then get ready to go to church.
On Thursday we'll be having a bbq with some friends from our church.
I better go for now,
Grace
